GRASS VALLEY/NEVADA CITY May 25, 2018 – Caltrans is alerting motorists to expect lane and ramp closures, as well as one-way traffic controls, in the Grass Valley and Nevada City area as contractor crews complete the emergency paving repairs on State Highways 20 and 49. The work will include painting lane delineations and installing recessed reflective lane markers.
The work is scheduled to take place as follows:
Wednesday, May 30 – 8 a.m. to noon – The Dorsey Drive on-ramp to westbound Highway 20 and the #2 or right lane of westbound Highway 20 from Dorsey Drive to the Idaho Maryland Road off-ramp will be closed.
Wednesday, May 30 – Noon to 4 p.m. – The Idaho-Maryland on-ramp to eastbound Highway 20 and the #2 or right lane of eastbound Highway 20 from the Idaho Maryland Road to the Dorsey Drive off-ramp will be closed.
Thursday, May 31 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. – One-way traffic controls will be in effect on Highway 20 between Celio Road and Harmony Ridge Road.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and adjust their travel time accordingly. Weather or other unexpected events may delay or prolong the work.
