August 16, 2019 – Have you ever been curious about what it would be like to explore Costa Rica? Join the Madelyn Helling Library for an evening of adventure facilitated by local traveler Gary Emanuel. Gary will share a photograph presentation with observations from his recent trip to Costa Rica, highlighting the cultural and biodiverse attractions that brings over 1.7 million tourist each year.
Costa Rica boasts beautiful beaches, mountain ranges, volcanoes, rain forests and diverse wildlife. Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean on the West and the Caribbean Sea on the East, Costa Rica is rich in biodiversity and makes it a top destination for eco conscience travelers.
From the National Parks of Costa Rica to the wide range of flora and fauna, Gary will provide insights and tips on getting around. Learn about the wildlife, waterfalls and birdwatching opportunities he explored along the way.
