February 6, 2020 – The Nevada County Fairgrounds has a vacant Treat Street booth and is seeking a local nonprofit group to operate the booth at the 2020 Nevada County Fair, August 12 – 16. This is a unique fundraising opportunity for a local organization and a fun way to be part of Treat Street at the Nevada County Fair!
The booth is located on “South Treat Street,” near Gate 5, between the popular NEO and SEED booths. Applicants may choose the food or beverage of their choice to serve from the booth, but proposed menu items must not conflict with existing concessions and must appeal to Fairgoers. Menu items for the booth will be pre-approved by Fair Management. In addition to preparing the food, the group must provide necessary equipment for the booth and staffing from 10 am – 11 pm during the five days of the Fair.
The Nevada County Fair’s Treat Street consists of community nonprofit service organizations. Last year, food and beverage concessions generated more than $1 million in sales at the Fair.
