CHICO, Calif. JULY 27, 2018 — Tri Counties Bank has started the Carr Fire Fund 2018 account with an initial deposit of $25,000 to benefit victims of the fires ravaging our communities throughout Northern California.
The bank encourages others to make donations to the Carr Fire Fund 2018 at any Tri Counties Bank branch or donate online at www.gofundme.com/tcb-2018-carr-fire-fund.
Funds will be distributed to people in need through the United Way of Northern California and local non-profit emergency relief agencies directly serving fire victims with immediate needs. All non-profit organizations have been vetted as trusted and well-managed direct emergency service providers. Funds will be allocated to local agencies based on proportionate need and expected impact.
