SACRAMENTO November 21, 2017 – The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) serving Yuba, Butte and Nevada counties will close its doors permanently at the close of business on Nov. 22. The center is located at the Yuba County Government Center, 915 Eighth St., Marysville, CA 95901.

DRCs are jointly run by the state’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Representatives from Cal OES, FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and other state and federal agencies staff the DRCs. They offer survivors of the October fires disaster assistance resources.

Disaster survivors can still access disaster information and assistance in several ways.  They can call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (for voice and video relay service) or 800462-7585 for TTY users. Or, they can visit one of the assistance centers that remain open:

Hours: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday – Friday; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday; Closed Sunday. This center will also close November 23-26 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday.

Hours: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday; Closed Sunday

Hours: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday; Closed Sunday
