Truckee, CA- The Town of Truckee, in partnership with Nevada County and numerous local service districts, invites the community to attend Truckee’s first-ever State of the Community event. This new forum offers residents a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the agencies that serve the Truckee region, learn about current initiatives, and gain insight into future plans.

The event will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Alder Creek Middle School. The event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature a series of brief, high-level presentations from participating agencies, highlighting key projects, services, and priorities shaping the community. Attendees will hear directly from agency leaders about initiatives that impact daily life—from infrastructure improvements to planning efforts and new programs—and will have time to connect with representatives following the presentations.
To ensure accessibility and broad participation, Spanish interpretation and childcare (ages 2+) will be provided, along with light refreshments and raffle prizes.
