GRASS VALLEY, Calif. October 5, 2016 – The Grass Valley City Council is inviting applications to fill 2 vacancies on the City’s Planning Commission one for a 4 year period and the other for a 2 year period. The Application deadline is Friday, October 21, 2016 at 4:00 PM.
The Planning Commission meets regularly on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. with additional meetings as necessary, depending upon the level of development activity. Commissioners receive $35 per meeting for their time and service and must reside within the City limits of Grass Valley.
Individuals interested in serving on the Commission must submit a Boards and Commissions application to Kristi Bashor, City Clerk, at Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main Street, Grass Valley, CA 95945 no later than October 21, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Applications are available at City Hall, on the City’s Web Site at http://www.cityofgrassvalley.com/files/document_central/application_for_boards_and_commissions.pdf or may be obtained by calling the City Clerk and requesting that an application be mailed to you.
