NEVADA CITY, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 – Please note that there will be two water shut-offs needed for water line work in the Searls Ave neighborhood. The first is an overnight shutoff on Thurs, Sept. 3rd (8pm-5am) and the second will be a daytime shutoff on Wed. Sept. 9 (8am-6pm).
Thu. Sept. 3rd 8pm-5am (Overnight)
Water will be shut off to properties in the area shown in red (see map). This Notice informs residents and commercial business owners that a temporary Water Shutoff is needed for waterline work being completed by the City. No water will be available during this timeframe noted above. We will work to minimize the disruption by turning on the water as soon as possible. After the water work is complete, please run your cold water for a few minutes to flush your service line until the water runs clear. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we improve the City’s infrastructure.
