GRASS VALLEY May 8, 2018 – Caltrans is alerting motorists traveling in the Grass Valley area that paving operations tomorrow by Martin Brothers Construction will require alternating lane closures of westbound Highway 20 for a short distance between the Dorsey Drive off-ramp and the Dorsey Drive on-ramp.
The #1 or left lane will be closed Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the #2 or right lane will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to repair the highway’s asphalt surface damaged by a summer 2017 traffic incident involving heavy equipment falling onto the roadway. The Dorsey Drive on-ramp to westbound Highway 20 will also be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays. Weather or other unexpected events may delay or prolong the work.
