December 15, 2019 – We are going to see quiet weather the next few days with cold overnight lows. Morning frost will be likely Monday and Tuesday morning.

Rain and snow chances return Wednesday morning as a weak system passes to our west. Snow levels are expected to be low between 3500 and 4500 feet but snow accumulation is expected to remain light. Showers diminish Wednesday evening and we will see a front drop south into the area on Thursday. This is going to bring showers to areas north of I-80 Thursday and Friday. There is quite a bit of uncertainty on how far south the front makes it which will affect who sees showers.

Snow levels will be 4000 to 5000 feet on Thursday but will rise to above 5500 feet Friday.
Rain and snow chances across the entire area look better next weekend
