Hezekiah Allen is a third-generation and lifelong grower who moved from his ranch in Humboldt to focus on public policy. As the Executive Director of the California Growers Association he works to understand and balance the interests and perspectives of several hundred cannabis growers and business owners. His work is focused on building a small-business and grower friendly, regulated marketplace for cannabis in CA. Allen has also worked on forestry, water and transportation policy. A poet and a dreamer, Hezekiah balances between big picture vision, humor and a realistic assessment of the policy landscape and challenges facing growers and business owners.

“It’s going to be an incredibly stimulating and informative event,” says Co-Chair Ella Alpina. She adds: “The Nevada County growers’ community has mixed emotions and many questions, for which they need answers.”
