May 17, 2017 – The Nevada County 4-H Youth Development Program, a program of the University of California Cooperative Extension, offers an annual summer camp experience for youth ages 9 to 18, scheduled for July 10 – 14, 2017.
Campers participate in an array of traditional camp activities that foster healthy living in the outdoors, including hiking, swimming at the lake, archery, arts and crafts, zip line, and nightly gatherings at the campfire with songs, skits, and games. Participating in camp programs helps youth build self-confidence, meet new people, and experience new opportunities.
Nevada County 4-H Camp is located at Woodchuck Flat, above Cisco Grove in the Tahoe National Forest. Camp registration is $135 for current 4-H members, and for those not currently enrolled in 4-H, there is an additional enrollment cost of $40.
For registration information, call 530-273-5763 or email jcsimmons@ucdavis.edu or visit: http://ucanr.edu/sites/nevadacounty4h/. Space is limited so register early.
