Thank you Pasquale!! For reporting so quickly on the fire and reporting the problem of campfires. My daughter had an encounter as well with campers at the river where she stomped out a fire in front the the startled spears! She is not someone to be reckoned with and successfully put it out. Another BIG problem is the parking at Edwards crossing. Any given weekend there are 150-200 cars there now. There are no parking signs everywhere that are blatantly disregarded. Some tickets are given, but sadly not enough. Parkers do not realize that above the crossing are homes and a large recreation area. They park in the road blocking emergency vehicles and locals. Even large pick ups have difficulty getting through. The county met with some of us locals years ago on this matter but not much has changed.
