What’s the difference between an invasive plant and a weed? Some invasive plants are really pretty (looking at you, Scotch Broom) – why should we kill them? What are the worst invasives in Nevada County and how can you manage them on your property?

Come join the Master Gardeners of Nevada County on Saturday, June 1, for a brand-new workshop on these problem plants. June 1, 10 a.m. to noon, Demonstration Garden, NID grounds, 1036 W. Main St., Grass Valley.

Our office, located at 255 South Auburn St. in Grass Valley is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00am to noon, with a Master Gardener on duty on Tuesdays.
