No Kings demonstration in Brunswick Basin – photo gallery

An estimated 3,700 to 4,000 people showed up on Saturday afternoon to participate in the local No Kings demonstration in the Brunswick Basin in Grass Valley. The peaceful event drew a much larger crowd than the previous event.

Traffic was slow coming from Hwy 49, but the majority of drivers were good-natured.

Locally, Indivisible Nevada County was the main organizer. The national No Kings Coalition issued a statement saying, “Today, across red states and blue, rural towns and major cities, Americans stood in peaceful unity and made it clear: we don’t do kings.”
