Due to equipment malfunction, grinding operations on E Main St could not proceed Thursday as planned.
In order to stay on schedule for paving Friday morning, crews will work overnight to grind out and prep the E Main St roadway. Please see the updated construction alert below for revised closure schedules.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION ALERT (UPDATED)
EFFECTIVE DATE(S): October 16th and 17th , 2025
East Main Street, between Auburn St and Bennett St will be subject to traffic control October 16th and 17th , 2025 for pavement replacement work.
The Traffic Control System will utilize a complete closure of E Main St between the hours of 9:30PM Thursday and 6:00AM Friday
The Traffic Control System will utilize one way traffic between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM Friday. Eastbound E Main St will be closed and through traffic will be detoured onto S Auburn St.
