In Nevada County our Sierra College campus is growing. Students of all ages can be found attending classes in pursuit of a 4 year degree, a 2 year associate degree and participating in technical programs such as nursing and fire technology and many more.
The Sierra College Nevada County Council raises money to support these students by awarding scholarships, sponsoring enrichment activities, and purchasing instructional supplies, just to name a few ways in which we help make our students lives a little bit easier. The Council sponsors events throughout the year including the one coming up soon!
The Family Fun Festival on July 10, 2026 is a family-friendly event packed with food, fun and entertainment. Located at 250 Sierra College Drive, the event begins at 5 pm and ends with the amazing sunset at 9 pm.
Parking is free and signs will guide you to the beautiful center of our campus. Once there you can purchase tickets for games and raffles, enjoy dining and beverages from a variety of food trucks. Local beer and wine for purchase will be served in the adult beer garden.
When you join us for the Family Fun Fest on July 10, 2026 from 5 pm to 9 pm you will be contributing to the success of our local students! Please come by and enjoy the evening of fun including games with prizes, raffle for baskets of goodies donated by local businesses, food and beverage.
All proceeds stay here in Nevada County.
