The 2025 NUJHSD Trades Expo at the Fairgrounds saw 600 students learn about possible career paths from local businesses and agencies.
NUJHSD and the Nevada County Contractors Association teamed up for three two-hour sessions for the students. Thirty-six contractors and agencies were at hand and the students exhibited some amazing precision and talent operating heavy equipment as shown in our video.

The Trades Expo is growing each year with more contractors and agencies participating. The high school district’s Career Technical Education (CTE) now offers 30 CTE course approved for UC “A-G” college entrance credit.
