The Nevada County 4-H Youth Development Program is pleased to announce that registration is open for its annual 4-H Summer Camp, taking place July 21–25, 2025, at the historic Donner Mine Camp, outside of Nevada City. Registration closes June 2, or when camp is full.

Open to youth ages 9 to 18 (as of December 31, 2024), this five-day, four-night residential camp offers an enriching outdoor experience focused on fun, friendship, and personal growth. Campers will stay active and engaged with a dynamic schedule that includes arts and crafts, team games, nature hikes, skits, themed activities, and evening campfires—all designed to build confidence, creativity, and leadership skills in a supportive, screen-free environment.
The camper registration fee is $320. An additional $67 enrollment fee applies for youth not currently enrolled in the 4-H program.
Located off Zeibright Road, Donner Mine Camp offers a unique setting that blends natural beauty and rich history, making it an ideal location for youth to explore, learn, and grow.
The University of California 4-H Youth Development Program (California 4-H) helps kids find their spark, build real world skills and become resilient, adaptable, lifelong learners. We welcome youth ages 5 to 18 and adult volunteers to join and become part of the largest youth development program in the nation. California 4-H is delivered in every county through the UC Cooperative Extension offices.
