The most progressive neighborhood evacuation program community in Nevada County, California is having their annual 2025 Banner Terrace Fire Alert Street meeting at 10 am on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the bottom of Sesame Street and Wings of Morning Drive on Banner Mountain in Nevada City, California. Please mark your calendar.

The Banner Terrace Fire Alert neighborhood is being viewed as one of the most progressive evacuation neighborhood programs operating in Nevada County. The neighborhood follows the GO (Get Out) Plan that is available to anyone with a desire to develop their own custom wildfire evacuation plan (free download at https://www.operationunite.co/disaster-preparedness). We have one mission; no one dies in a wildfire. This program has been active for eight years.

We now want to spread the word that this program is available for everyone. This yearโ€™s road meeting will be more broadly attended. Key people from the real estate industry and leaders of neighborhoods across Banner Mtn. and surrounding areas, including Cascade Shores, Greenhorn, City of Nevada City and City of Grass Valley, at a minimum have been invited. The focus at this meeting further develops situational awareness, communication during the chaos of a wildfire, and thoughtful evacuation. The expected +100 attendance will engage in real wildfire scenarios.
