Forensic autopsies were conducted today (Thursday) for the two individuals found deceased earlier this week in Dobbins and Plumas Lake.

The individual located in Dobbins is a white adult male who appears to be middle-aged. His body was found Monday, Sept. 14 off the roadway on Frenchtown Road in Dobbins.

The individual located in Plumas Lake is an elderly black adult female. Her body was found on Tuesday, Sept. 15 on the shoulder of the roadway on Plumas Arboga Road.

Yuba County Sheriff’s Office detectives are continuing their investigations, and both individuals remain unidentified at this time. The Sheriff’s Office remains committed to establishing their identities and investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths. These deaths are also currently being treated as two separate investigations.

These investigations remain open and ongoing, therefore no further details will be released at this time.
