April 23, 2021 – Tomorrow, April 24, 2021, the Truckee Little League will have its annual opening day parade. Players and their families will participate in decorated cars and will be escorted by the Truckee Police Department, the Truckee Fire Protection District, and a Care Flight flyover.
The parade will begin at 8 a.m. from the east side of Truckee High School. It will head down Donner Pass Road, before turning around at the Truckee Courthouse and ending at the west side of the high school.
Please expect significant traffic congestion and delays in this area beginning at 8.a.m. We recommend that community members avoid the area during this time, unless necessary or wanting to support and participate in the opening day celebration.
