GRASS VALLEY, California –The Nordic Marketplace returns to Grass Valley, offering a celebration of all things Scandinavian. The event will take place on Saturday, October 10 from 10am-4pm at the Banner Grange. Attendees can browse vendors, enjoy live music, and see demonstrations including Scandinavian fiber arts provided and Nordic cooking. Free kids crafts will be available.
The event will feature a Viking era reenactment group, who will provide demonstrations on daily life in the Viking era. The reenactment group offers a living history and educational presentation of the culture, weapons, and crafts from a thousand years ago.

Admission is $10 at the door, all youth 12 and under a free.
