August 21, 2020 – Area wildfires will continue to bring smoky conditions across northern California. Renewed warming trend over the weekend and into early next week will result in areas of moderate heat risk for portions of the Valley and foothills. There is a chance for thunderstorms Sunday through Tuesday, which could start new fires. Due to this potential, a Fire Weather Watch has been issued.
