Grass Valley, Calif. — Foothills Compassionate Care is thrilled to announce its upcoming fundraising event, Rhythm & Vine. This evening of live music, dancing, and heartfelt giving will take place on May 16, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the scenic North Star House in Grass Valley.
Set against the backdrop of the Sierra foothills, Rhythm & Vine is more than a garden party—it’s an invitation to gather in the community, celebrate compassion, and support care that truly goes beyond expectations. All proceeds from the event benefit Foothills Compassionate Care’s programs and services, including hospice care, palliative care, grief support, and caregiver resources.
Guests will enjoy a performance by The Vieaux 5, a crowd-favorite local band bringing their signature blend of roadhouse rock and alt-country hits. The event will also feature an abundant array of charcuterie boards, a decadent spread of desserts and beverages, and a silent auction packed with “bucket list” experiences—including Country in the Park VIP passes, wellness retreats, guided fishing excursions, and more.
“As the only community based nonprofit hospice provider in Western Nevada County, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help fund the compassionate, personalized care that goes far beyond what Medicare reimburses,” said Heidi Wingo, Executive Director of Foothills Compassionate Care. “Rhythm & Vine is not only a celebration—it’s a meaningful way for people to come together to make a real difference for those facing life’s most challenging chapters.”
