FREED is hosting a free Emergency Preparedness Training via Zoom on Friday, June 12th at 1:00pm. This session is designed to help older adults and people with disabilities stay safe and maintain independence during emergencies.
In response to recent winter storms and power outages in our region, this training will cover practical strategies for preparing for events such as severe weather, wildfires, earthquakes, and Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS). Youโll learn how to create a personalized emergency plan, build a preparedness kit, and maintain access to essential resources.
To register, email brian@freed.org. Additional trainings will be offered in the coming months.
Thank you, and stay safe this wildfire season!
Warmly,
FREED Emergency Preparedness Team
