October 3, 2017 – Nevada County Transit Services has received a Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) air quality grant that provides public transit funding assistance for projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve mobility.
Gold Country Stage will provide “Free Fares” on all routes and will be operating normal schedules and times on Friday, October 6th, from 5:50 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 7th, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with free fares for all.

Gold Country Stage is available for folks traveling to the 2017 “Nevada County All Veteran’s Stand Down” on Route 3. The Route 3 bus stop will be available at Brighton St. and McCourtney Rd. at :08 after the hour from 7:08 a.m. through 7:08 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 8:08 a.m. through 4:08 p.m. Saturday at the Fairgrounds Stop.
