The 4-H youth development program helps young people to reach their full potential as competent, confident, leaders of character who contribute and are connected to their communities. Since the early 1920’s, Nevada County 4-H has provided youth with hands-on learning opportunities that help them enhance life skills such as public speaking, leadership, and citizenship. 4-H is not only about animal husbandry. 4-H projects include website design, sports shooting, summer camp, and rocketry. There are projects to interest any youth into participating.
If you would like to order quantities of candy, please contact the 4-H Volunteer Coordinators, Andrea Hanson (530) 913-6153 or Jessica King (530) 444-0184.
