As part of the Shared Service agreement between the City of Grass Valley and Nevada City Fire Departments, FF Dupzyk’s position is a shared cost between the two agencies.

FF Dupzyk’s first structure fire as a Grass Valley/Nevada City Firefighter was on July 18th as Grass Valley Engine 2, Engine 1 and Nevada City Engine 5482 were all assigned to the residential structure fire on La Barr Meadows Road.

Probationary Firefighters spend more than 20 hours behind the wheel training for safe operation of emergency vehicles prior to being released to drive to emergency incidents.
