GRASS VALLEY. Calif. September 10, 2018 – Effective immediately, the natural gas leak has been secured, road closures and evacuations will be lifted.
A natural gas leak resulted in the closure of the Brunswick Basin from Nevada City Highway to Old Tunnel and Sutton Way.
The leak was a result of a construction accident at Plaza and Brunswick Road.
Protective, proactive, actions were taken to ensure the safety of the public including road closures and evacuations of several business nearby due to the extent of the leak along with shifting winds and heavy traffic.
