NEVADA CITY, Calif. April 28, 2017 – Nevada City Parks & Recreation offers swim lessons, day camps, and a Junior Lifeguard Program during the summer months. We are offering a new camp this year – Chess Wizards. The camp instructors provide a fun experience while teaching the game of chess. Registration for all of our programs begins online May 1, 2017.

You can find the Guide and registration information on the City’s website: http://nevadacityca.gov/pview.aspx?id=20770&catid=564 Staff will be at the Nevada City Swimming Pool, located in Pioneer Park on May 8, 15 & 22 from 6-8pm to answer questions and help you get registered for our programs.
These Monday evenings are a great time to reserve the pool for a Private Rental or to schedule a birthday party.
Opening day at the swimming pool is June 3rd. The public can swim from noon to 4pm. Season Passes are available for families and individuals.
The Nevada City Swimming Pool also offers adult water exercise classes and adult lap swim times.
