Nevada City Calif. – Nevada County Elections will conduct Logic and Accuracy testing of voting equipment starting on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The testing is part of preparations for the Nov. 3, 2026 General Election and takes place before every election.

The testing is open to the public and begins at 9 a.m. at the Ballot Processing Center 12740 Loma Rica Drive in Grass Valley. It may take multiple days to complete.

The voting equipment will be tested for functionality and accuracy. Test ballots are run through the system to confirm that every vote is recorded and reported as intended.
