NEVADA COUNTY, CA — The Nevada County Toy Run is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new summer charity event, A Ride for Hope, taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
A Ride for Hope is a motorcycle charity ride and community festival benefiting local children and families through a partnership with Hope for Nevada County. The event will help provide backpacks, shoes, and school supplies for local kids ahead of the upcoming school year.
The event will begin with motorcycle ride check-in at 10:00 AM at Twin Cities Church in Grass Valley before riders head out on a scenic Nevada County ride. The community festival will take place from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley.

The festival will feature:
• Live music throughout the day
• Local food vendors
• Beer garden
• Community vendors
• Family-friendly atmosphere
• Opportunities to support local children and families
Entertainment lineup includes:
• Walking the Dawg

Known for organizing the annual Nevada County Toy Run each December, the organization hopes A Ride for Hope will become another major community event focused on bringing people together while supporting local families in need.
“This event is about more than motorcycles,” organizers said. “It’s about community, giving back, and making sure local kids have the support they need heading into the school year.”
Community members are encouraged to attend whether they ride motorcycles or not.
