October 17, 2018 – As agents of our natural resources, Nevada Irrigation District (NID) places a high priority on watershed stewardship. To share information about the many stewardship and restoration projects occurring throughout the district, NID is hosting an open house event from 5:30-6:45 PM on October 17th at the Gold Miner’s Inn in Grass Valley. Please join us and bring a friend.

The open house will feature short presentations from NID staff, informative posters about stewardship projects, and educational activities for kids and adults. Attendees will learn about on-going efforts to improve watershed health, conserve water, restore montane meadows, improve fish habitat, and reduce the risk of catastrophic fire in our forests.

Light refreshments will be provided, so save the date for this opportunity to learn more about NID’s efforts to improve the watersheds which provide our precious supply of water.
