GRASS VALLEY, Calif. September 25, 2018 – A vegetation fire on the 12800 block of Mystic Mine Road was contained at 1/4 acre this afternoon with a rapid response of JOA resources, Penn Valley Fire, Rough and Ready Fire and Cal Fire.

Crews were able to keep the fire from damaging any structures. Grass Valley Engine 1 and Engine 2, Battalion 1 and NCCFD Watertender 84 were assisted by Cal Fire, Rough & Ready Fire and Penn Valley Fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
