Grass Valley, Calif. April 13, 2018 – Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation (SNMHF) is proud to announce the recipients of five award categories who will be honored at a free-to-attend award ceremony, taking place at 5:30 p.m. on April 26 at the Gold Miners Inn Hotel in downtown Grass Valley.

The annual SNMHF Awards Recognition Reception acknowledges individuals who have gone above and beyond to volunteer, support and advocate for quality healthcare, both locally and abroad. This year’s honorees include: Antonio Ayestaran, Nan Drummer, the Stonebridge Artisans +2 (recipients include Dick and Ann Mentzer, Bill and Karen Seckington, John (JV) & Missy Nichols, Steve and Martha Dasovic, Larry and Cathy Jostes, Dave Hood, Bill and Ann Hendricks, and Jake and Janice Bronson),Terry and Robin Prechter and Carry Canady.

Each award has a different name and serves a distinct purpose in recognizing each recipient. Antonio Ayestaran – owner of Antonio Ayestaran Custom Catering – will receive the Business of the Year award, in recognition of his valuable support of SNMHF. Nan Drummer will receive the Volunteer of the Year award due to her extraordinary volunteer efforts. The Stonebridge Artisans +2 will receive the Volunteer Group of the Year Award in honor of their work on SNMHF event, Midnight in Venice at the Masquerade Ball. Dr. Terrence and Robin Prechter will receive the Humanitarian of the Year award, which was created by the SNMHF board in 2002 to recognize western Nevada County residents who have made humanitarian contributions on a global level. Canady will receive the Curtis Grimes Perpetual Leadership award, which is presented to an individual that has demonstrated outstanding healthcare leadership that Curtis Grimes—one of the founders of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation— exemplified.

Through their generosity, time and talents, each award recipient has made a valuable and meaningful contribution to the work of SNMHF. Please help us honor them at this free-to-attend ceremony.
