Foresthill, Calif. June 24, 2020 – The Tahoe National Forest is installing new vault toilets at the Sugar Pine Boat Launch, June 22-24. The boat launch facilities will be temporarily closed during this time.
If you are planning to visit the Sugar Boat Launch area June 24 through 26, 2020, please note that:
• The boat launch will be closed –please plan accordingly.
• Toilet facilities will be temporarily closed –please plan accordingly.
• Day use parking at the site will be limited due to construction.
The Manzanita Day Use site will be available during these days, but parking is very limited.
We appreciate your patience during these temporary inconveniences. The new toilet facilities at Sugar Pine Boat Launch will provide upgrades to the existing facilities and enhance future visitor experiences at the reservoir.
