Truckee, Calif. September 27, 2018 – Tahoe Donner will host its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northwoods Clubhouse. Now in its ninth consecutive year, the Fall Festival features a full day of live entertainment and hands-on, seasonal-themed activities for the North Lake Tahoe community to celebrate autumn in the High Sierra.

Fall Festival highlights include an expansive pumpkin patch and maze, regional arts and crafts vendors, plus live music and performances by local entertainers. Kid activities include a pony ride, carnival area, bounce house, obstacle course, face painting, climbing wall and more. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the inaugural costume contest for a chance to win prizes.

Returning is Wild Things Inc., a leader in animal education and conservation. Their exciting and educational presentations bring spectators up close and personal with a variety of rescued wildlife. In addition, dog owners are invited to bring their four-legged friends to participate in the popular Doggie Dip at the Northwoods Clubhouse Pool. Dogs are welcome, but must be on leash when not in the pool area.

New this year, paid entry is required for all attendees age 2 and older. Entry costs range from $5-$25 and includes unlimited access to many of the event activities. Oktoberfest-inspired food and BBQ, seasonal beers and items from Pizza on the Hill will be available for purchase.

A free shuttle bus will provide pick-up and drop-off from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. between Trout Creek Recreation Center and Northwoods Clubhouse.
