NEVADA CITY, Calif. June 11, 2018 – The Nevada County Elections Office has released updated results for the June Primary election.
As of today, 21,768 have been counted.
In District 3, incumbent Dan Miller leads with 2,063 votes to challenger Hilary Hodge’s 1,963.
In the Sheriff’s race, Shannan Moon solidifies her lead with 7,318 votes over Bill Smethers’ 6,789 votes and John Foster’s 6,188 votes.
Incumbent District Attorney Cliff Newell stays ahead with 9,903 votes compared to challenger Glenn Jennings’ 9,203 votes.
In the Nevada City race for City Council, Duane Strawser remains in the lead with 508 votes, second place for Evans Phelps, slightly widening her lead with 445 votes to Erin Minett’s 439.
