November 4, 2019 – Dry and mild weather pattern with no major wind events expected for at least the next week.
Discussion
Little change in the pattern over the next week as the persistent ridge remains along the West Coast.
This will continue dry weather with warm, above average, daytime temperatures and cool nights.
A weak weather system moving over the ridge may bring high clouds to the region on Tuesday. Winds will remain generally light.
Extended Discussion (Friday through Monday)
Broad upper ridging will remain a fixture in the forecast through the weekend supporting an extended period of warm, dry weather.
Daily high temperatures are likely to stay around 10 to 15 degrees above average accompanied by cool mornings.
A temporary break in the ridge is expected for early next week which may introduce additional high clouds.
Otherwise, ensembles allow heights to re- build over the western U.S. through at least the middle of next week.
Dry conditions are likely to persist through mid-November given the semi-permanent ridge overhead.
