February 5, 2020 – Wildlife Rehabilitation & Release is in desperate need of volunteers for the upcoming season. WR&R is dedicated to the care and rescue of injured and orphaned native wildlife.

To find out how you can help, you can attend one of our Volunteer Interest Informational Meetings:

Feb. 22, 11:00 am
Feb. 23, 3:00 pm
Feb. 27, 6:30 pm

All meetings at the Intake Center, 809 Maltman Drive, Grass Valley.

You will learn about what WR&R does, and how you can help. There will be representatives from each team; Intake Center, Raptor, Songbirds, Bats, and Small Mammals.

At the information meeting, you can sign up for one of these teams, and you will be trained beginning in March.

Also, if you want to help, but don’t want to work directly with animals, there is plenty of need for all kinds of help, from answering phones, fundraising, building and maintenance, clerical, transportation, etc. If you want to help, we can put you to work.

For more information about the meetings, or if you want to attend, please email our President, Bev Myers, at bevmyers4wrr@outlook.com. See you there!
