PENN VALLEY, Calif. October 5, 2016 – Penn Valley Fire responded to a garage fire on Shelter Ct in Lake Wildwood at 1:20 this morning.
The home was occupied at the the time of the fire and all occupants made it out safely. The fire extended into the attic, displacing five adults and four children.
No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the structure of origin. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Penn Valley Fire had assistance from Grass Valley Fire Department, CAL FIRE and Rough & Ready Fire.
