Three Public Information Officers (PIOs) from Nevada County will be returning home over the next few days after their assignment to the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles.
The PIO Officers assigned were Daniel Ramey of Peardale Chicago Park Fire, Spencer Albrecht of Higgins Fire and Tyler Tomlinson of Grass Valley Fire. The Officers assignments included media interviews, running community meetings, assisting the public with safely returning to their homes, and coordinating VIP visits to the incident.
We are grateful that Nevada County was able to supply resources to assist our brothers and sisters in LA during this catastrophic event.
