November 8, 2018 – After months of campaigning and ballots still being tallied after Tuesday’s election, Nevada Irrigation District (NID) is eager to welcome three new Directors to its five-member Board.

“We look forward to working with our new Directors, and welcome their perspectives and community representation they will bring to the Board,” said NID General Manager Rem Scherzinger.

The Directors-elect will be inducted during the regular Board meeting on Dec. 12. The public is invited to attend the meeting, which will convene at 9:00 a.m at the District’s Board Room at 1036 West Main Street, Grass Valley.

Elected to four-year terms, NID Directors set policy to ensure a reliable, high-quality water supply for our farms, homes and businesses in Nevada and Placer counties.

Final election results are pending as ballots are counted in Nevada County.
