October 3, 2022 at 9:40 AM Per Grass Valley Police Department, Chase Bank in Brunswick is temporarily closed and likely to reopen around noon. A suspicious item was located in the Chase Bank night drop which concerned the employees. They evacuated per their protocol and were treating it as an active but contained suspicious device until a technician from Placer County can arrive and make a further determination. Caution/crime scene tape is up around the parking lot to deter foot traffic from walking through the bank property.
