Are you looking for ways to support local non-profits? Do you like the Nevada County Fair but want a way to enjoy it “on the cheap”? Do you have time to volunteer and become part of a thriving community supporting our local youth? Do you like meeting young people who are making a difference?

Look no further than the Nevada County 4-H Breakfast Burrito & Philly Cheesesteak and Pizza Booths this week at the Nevada County Fair. Located at the end of treat street, closest to the grandstands.
We have opportunities for youth 11-18 years and adults interested in supporting 4-H or 4-H alumni to serve a few hours and receive an admission ticket for the fair, free meal, and a soda pop! Particularly Sunday evening.
Maybe you just like to eat delicious food! Enjoy our classic breakfast burritos, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, pizza by the slice, ham and cheese melts, strawberry shortcake, or refresh yourself with our all NEW Italian Ice!
You can come see the faces of some great community minded youth, who will be tomorrow’s leaders. Not only do we raise quality locally grown animals, these youth also do citizenship projects, serve at veteran events, practice public speaking, and command leadership roles with excellence. Not to mention learning by doing in a variety of projects including but not limited to; sewing, model rockets, art and crafts, foraging, and mountain biking. Ask us how you can sign-up your youth as well. See you at the fair! Aug. 12-16, 2026.
