The Nevada County Historical Landmarks Commission and the Nevada County Historical Society are delighted to invite the public to attend the unveiling and dedication of a plaque honoring Dave Comstock on June 18, 2026 at 6:30 pm, at the Searls Historical Library located at 161 Nevada City Hwy.
A free Historical Society program exploring Dave’s many accomplishments will follow at the adjoining Sierra Presbyterian Church, located at 175 Ridge Road, Nevada City. The program will begin at 7 pm and will feature family, friends and colleagues of Dave’s talking about Dave and his many accomplishments.
And we will open up the mic for society members and members of the public to tell their favorite story about him.
Many of the books Dave published will be available for purchase from Comstock Bonanza Press, now operated by Cindi Anderson.
