GRASS VALLEY, Calif. July 16, 2026 — Stanford Sierra Youth & Families warmly invites the Nevada County community to celebrate local young artists at an upcoming Youth Art Show. The special community event will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the organization’s Grass Valley location, situated at 1020 McCourtney Road, Suite A.

The public is invited to attend this free gathering designed to honor the creativity, imagination, and diverse talents of the youth served by the organization’s Family Preservation Program, a program that provides specialized mental health and family support services to help strengthen families and keep youth safe and together in our local community. The exhibition features a wide array of original artwork, offering these youth a meaningful platform to share their unique perspectives and voices with the community.

To directly empower the youth involved, the majority of the artwork on display will be available for purchase. All proceeds from art sales will return directly to the young artists themselves, helping to bolster their confidence and support their future creative endeavors.

“Art provides an invaluable space for self-expression, confidence, and connection,” said Danielle Vanaman, Executive Director of Programs in Grass Valley. “Our youth have poured their hearts into these vibrant pieces. We are incredibly proud to showcase their hard work and invite our neighbors to join us in lifting up their achievements.”

Guests will enjoy complimentary light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres while exploring the gallery space. The event also offers a wonderful opportunity for community members to learn more about the critical, supportive services Stanford Sierra Youth & Families provides to local children and families.
