Nevada City, Calif. February 29, 2024 – Nevada County Arts Council has rescheduled Saturday’s The Business of Art symposium to March 16 due to forecasted extreme weather in the region. Join us at Sierra College on Saturday, March 16 for the annual career development symposium and creatives networking event.
Due to an extreme weather forecast of high winds, freezing rain and snow in areas throughout Nevada County and the wider Sierra Region, Nevada County Arts Council has made the difficult decision to reschedule The Business of Art.
Say’s Eliza Tudor, Executive Director at Nevada County Arts Council, “A number of factors have influenced our decision to find a new date. When it became clear that our High Sierra presenters and participants wouldn’t be able to attend in person due to blizzards over the Donner and Yuba passes, and with lower altitude snow and high winds predicted for Saturday, we couldn’t risk the safety of attendees, despite huge enthusiasm for the event itself. We look forward to a fabulous day together on March 16th, and registration remains open!”
