July 9th at 9 am, the You Bet community is holding a Firewise outreach to benefit all community households. The event will host a wide variety of vendors, Cal Fire Reps, O.E.S, Firewise leaders, a Jump house for the kids, a raffle, games, and possibly a helicopter landing on site.
A number of instruction and details on defensible space, Scotch broom eradication, Cal Fire response for our community and evacuation procedures will be covered.
Nevada County Supervisors Heidi Hall and Hardy Bullock will attend and CDA Director Trisha Tillotson will be on hand to answer questions about roads/evacuations.
It will be held on the Gary Lawton property, You Bet Rd and Red Dog Road intersection. Parking on site available.
